How do I know my current card account balance?

You may check your card account balance through Najm Online or by calling our 24/7 call center on 600 57 NAJM (6256) within the UAE and +971 4 293 5811 internationally.

What are quasi-cash transactions?

These are transactions involving items that are directly convertible to cash. Quasi-cash transactions include the below kind of merchants:

  • wire transfer money orders
  • non-financial institutions – foreign currency, money orders & travelers’ cheques
  • betting – lottery tickets, casino gaming chips, off-track betting & wagers at race tracks

Cash advance fee and finance charges will be levied on such purchases as per the Schedule of Fees & Charges.

How do I activate my card?

You can activate your card by sending the SMS ‘ACT (space) last 6 digits of your card number (space) 4 digit PIN of your choice’ to 1681. E.g. ACT 123456 1122

How many days do I have to make a payment from the time my statement is produced?

Payment can be made any time from the statement date. However, the minimum payment amount must be received within 25 days from the statement date. A late payment penalty will be charged if no payment is made before the due date and interest will be charged on the outstanding balance.

How will I know what my minimum payment is?

The minimum payment will be mentioned on your monthly statement and on Najm Online. You will also receive an SMS reminder to make your payment. This is calculated at 5% of the outstanding balance or AED 100 whichever is the greater. This amount must be paid by the due date shown on the statement.

When will I be charged the interest and how is it calculated?

You will be charged the interest every month for any unsettled amounts from previous statements. The monthly interest is calculated daily and added to your account for any balances not paid off by the due date mentioned on your statement. This interest will always be stated for your reference.

How do I know my Credit Limit?

Once your card application is approved, you will receive your welcome pack alone with a card carrier which states your current card limit. It will also be indicated at the top of your monthly statement.

How long will it take until I receive my new Najm Credit Card?

Once we receive your application form and you have enclosed all the required documentation, you should receive your Najm Credit Card in approximately 7 days.

Is there a fee for supplementary credit cards?

You can get up to 5 free supplementary cards for your family

How can I get supplementary credit cards for my family?

Simply complete the required sections entitled “Supplementary Cardholders Details” on the Application Form and ensure the supplementary card members passport copy is attached.

Can I change my PIN to a preferred number?

You can change your PIN at any time through our 24/7 call center on 600 57 NAJM (6256) within the UAE and +971 4 293 5811 internationally. Alternatively, you may request a PIN change by sending the SMS ‘RESET (space) last 6 digits of your card number (space) 4 digit PIN of your choice’ to 1681. E.g. RESET 123456 1122

Do I have an option to get a paper statement?

Yes, you can request for a paper statement at a nominal fee. To get the most updated fees and charges, please refer to the Schedule of Fees & Charges.

Najm Cashback Cards

Can I exchange my Carrefour voucher for cash?

No, the voucher cannot be exchanged for cash

Can I give my Carrefour voucher to someone as a gift?

No, this is a personal voucher which can be redeemed either by you or your supplementary(s) only.

How can I redeem my Najm Cashback reward points?

Every time you reach cashback savings of AED 100, a Carrefour Voucher will be sent to you along with your statement. This voucher will be valid for 90 days from the date of the statement.

Will I receive a Statement showing my Najm Cashback rewards earned?

The amount of Cashback that you have earned and accumulated from spend on the Najm Credit Card will be indicated on your monthly statement.

Can I use the Najm Credit Card to withdraw cash?

Yes, you can withdraw cash from ATMs worldwide that have the Cirrus logo. Cash withdrawals are subject to a withdrawal fee of AED 90 or 3% of the amount of any cash withdrawal, whichever is the greater, on every cash withdrawal.

What should I do if my Najm Credit Card is lost or stolen?

To report a lost or stolen card please call 600 57 NAJM (6256) from within the UAE or +971 293 5811 from outside the UAE.

Your card will immediately be blocked and a replacement card will be issued and couriered to you within 3 working days.

What is the annual fee for the Najm Credit Card?

How long will it take until I receive my new Najm Credit Card?

Once we receive your application form and you have enclosed all the required documentation, you should receive your Najm Credit Card in approximately 7 days.

Can I apply for the Najm Credit Card on-line?

Yes, you can fill the online application form on our website and one of our representatives will shortly get in touch with you to take you through the application process.

How can I upgrade my existing Najm Silver or Blue Credit Card to earn 4% Cashback?

All you need to do to upgrade to a Najm Gold Credit Card is to SMS to ‘UP’ to ‘3135’ and one of our representatives will get in touch with you to process your request.

When will my Cashback Rewards expire?

If within any given 12-months period a Cardmember does not earn the fixed minimum amount of Points necessary to redeem the Rewards (as determined by MAF Finance in its sole discretion), then those Points which were credited in the Statement of Account issued on the first month of said 12-months period shall automatically expire. The Points so forfeited shall not be carried forward to any subsequent Statement of Account or reinstated in any way. Kindly refer to the detailed Terms and conditions

Is there a minimum spend required to earn Cashback?

There is a minimum of AED 2000 spend in a billing cycle to be eligible for Cashback points.

If you do not meet the minimum spend condition of AED 2000 in a billing cycle, you will not be eligible to earn Cashback points.

What if I spend more than the maximum cap?

In a billing cycle, if you spend more than the maximum cap you will not earn cashback rewards beyond the cap.

What is my introductory offer?

What is Voyager Rewards?

Najm One Card

Do Najm One customer have access to dedicated check-out counters at Carrefour?

No, the dedicated counters at Carrefour is a facility only for Najm Cashback Cardholders.

How do I know what transaction tier I am on or how much cashback I have earned before my statement?

The tiering of the transactions is based on the minimum when the transaction made is posted by the merchant who accepted your credit card. Therefore kindly refer to the Monthly Statement for the Transaction tiers and the cashback earned.

Will Cashback earned be adjusted against AMF?

The Cashback earned will be adjusted against the total outstanding every month. The annual fee will be included as part of the total outstanding and any cashback earned will be adjusted against the total outstanding.

How do I know what transaction tier I am on or how much cashback I have earned before my statement?

The tiering of the transactions is based on the minimum when the transaction made is posted by the merchant who accepted your credit card. Therefore kindly refer to the Monthly Statement for the Transaction tiers and the cashback earned.

How will disputed cashback transactions (earned) be adjusted?

For all reversals, a cashback of 2% will be reversed on the reversal amount posted on the card account. The cashback will be adjusted in the monthly statements.

Can customer have both Najm Cashback and Najm One Card?

Yes, customer can avail both the Cards by paying the respective Annual Fees on both the Card.

What is the minimum amount that qualifies a transaction for the tiering?

Transaction with minimum spend of AED 75 will qualify for the transaction tiers.

When will I earn monthly cashback?

Your monthly cashback will be credited to your next month’s statement and will be adjusted against your total outstanding.

The Just for You Visa Gift Card is a Visa card and you can use your card everywhere Visa is accepted around the world and online.

Where can I buy the Just For You Visa Gift Card?

The Just For You Visa Gift Card is available online at www.premogiftcards.com and can also be purchased at ENOC, EPPCO, Zoom, Al Ghurair Exchange, Carrefour, Abu Dhabi Co-Op, Circle K, Choithrams and Geant outlets.

Can I use my card at ATMs?

No, the Just For You Visa Gift Card cannot be used at ATMs.

What is the validity of the Prepaid Visa MyNetCard?

The card is valid for 1 year from the month of purchase.

Can I reload the Prepaid Visa MyNetCard?

The card cannot be reloaded.

Can I use my Prepaid Visa MyNetCard instantly after I purchase it?

Do I need to activate the Prepaid Visa MyNetCard?

Which currency will my Prepaid Visa MyNetCard be debited in if I use my card on a website for a foreign currency purchase?

The money held in your Prepaid Visa MyNetCard is in UAE Dirhams (AED). All non-AED transactions will be converted at the prevailing exchange rate.

If I am travelling overseas, can I use the Prepaid Visa MyNetCard?

You may use the card wherever VISA is accepted but only online. The card cannot be used to swipe at merchant point of sale machines.

Can I view my balances online?

All you have to do is login to www.premogiftcards.com, click on ‘My Card’ on the top navigation bar and follow the prompts.

Where can I find the CVV/Security Code number on the Prepaid Visa MyNetCard (for online shopping)?

The CVV number is located on the front of the card under CVV2. It is a 3 digit number.

Where can I find the expiry date for the Prepaid Visa MyNetCard when I’m shopping online?

The date is mentioned on the front of the card under the words “GOOD THRU” which indicates the expiry of the card. Please use this date when shopping online.

What is the validity of the Prepaid Visa MyNetCard?

  • Select ‘Add card’ in the Samsung Pay app

If your card is lost or stolen, please immediately contact Najm on 600 57 6256 to report it and have it blocked and replaced. This will ensure that there are no unauthorized transactions on your card. Please note that after we block your card you will not be able to use Samsung Pay and you will remain liable for all transactions on your card until the time of reporting the loss to the bank. Can I enroll my supplementary cardholder on to Samsung Pay?

Yes, you can if the supplementary cardholder has a compatible Samsung device. Please note that an authentication code to enroll the supplementary cardholder will be sent to the primary cardholder’s registered mobile number. How can I remove my Najm card from Samsung Pay?

You can remove your Najm card from Samsung Pay by selecting the card and then clicking on ‘More’ in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. Select ‘Delete’ to remove the payment card from Samsung Pay and authenticate it by using your fingerprint or device PIN.

How can I return a purchase if I used Samsung Pay to make the purchase?

If you return an item paid using Samsung Pay, the store may require you to tap, wave or swipe your phone on the payment terminal to complete the transaction for refund.

Is there anything I need to do if I sell, give or upgrade my device?
