Can I apply for multiple payment plans at the same time?

Yes, you can have multiple numbers of transactions on 0% installments under the EPP Program provided that the transactions falls within the available credit limit on your Najm Credit Card.

Can I opt for the 0% EPP throughout the year at the Merchants?

No, the 0% EPP offer has a different validity date at each merchant enrolled for the EPP Program and you can avail the 0% EPP only during this period only.

Can I choose to pay the pending installments all together in advance?

Yes, you can choose to pay the amount charged to the EPP program in advance. Nevertheless, you would need to pay the prevailing foreclosure fee.

How will I know that my purchase transaction has been transferred to 0% EPP Program?

There are two ways of confirming your transaction. You can either call our 24-hour Call Centre 600 57 NAJM (6256) or you will see the same in your monthly bill.

How do I enroll for the 0% EPP?

To convert your transaction to EPP, login to Najm Online or call Najm Call Centre at 600 57 NAJM (6256). This transaction will be deferred with your choice of repayment plan. Your installments will reflect on your monthly statements.

Will I be paying more interest for EPP facility?

No. The EPP transaction will incur 0% interest for a determined period of up to 12 months. After this period, you will be charged the prevailing interest in the event there is a balance amount after the EPP term.

Do I have to fill any forms to avail EPP facility?

No, all you need to do is call our Call Centre on 600 57 NAJM (6256) and our helpful agents there will be able to guide you through the process.  Learn more about our EPP facility.

Do I have a choice for the installment amounts made on 0% EPP promotions?

Currently, the 0% EPP on your purchase transaction will be converted to pre-defined monthly installments as soon as you fill the EPP Form and send it to MAF Finance.

What is a high value purchase & is there a minimum purchase amount to avail the EPP facility?

By high value purchase, we mean any purchase that is equal to AED 1,000 or more. This is the minimum amount of purchase that needs to be made with the Najm Credit Card at select merchants to avail the 0% EPP facility. Minimum purchase amount varies for every merchant. Am I required to make purchases at certain merchant outlets if I want to take advantage of 0% EPP promotions?

Yes, the 0% EPP is available at select merchant outlets. Please click here to see the list of outlets & detailed EPP Offers. The transactions should be on your Najm Credit Card to enable you to take advantage of the 0% EPP facility.

What is the 0% Easy Payment Plan with Carrefour & how can I avail this?

0% Easy Payment Plan (EPP) payment feature on the Najm Credit Card is available at Carrefour stores and Carrefour Web store and only on electronic items through which Cardmembers be able to pay for big-ticket electronic item purchases through a 0% easy installment plan of up to 12 months. If you are a Najm Card member, you will be able to avail this facility.

What is the 0% Easy Payment Plan & how can I avail this?

0% Easy Payment Plan (EPP) payment feature on the Najm Credit Card valid at select merchant outlets. Cardmembers are able to pay for big-ticket items purchases through a 0% Easy Payment Plan for up to 12 months.

How do I know my current card account balance?

You can call us on 600 57 NAJM (6256) to check your balance and/or to check any other Credit Card related inquiries, alternatively, you can log on to e-najm for online banking services.

What are quasi-cash transactions?

These are transactions involving items that are directly convertible to cash. Quasi-cash transactions include the below kind of merchants:

  • wire transfer money orders,
  • non-financial institutions – foreign currency, money orders & travelers cheques
  • betting including – lottery tickets, casino gaming chips, off-track betting & wagers at race tracks

Cash advance fee and Finance charges will be levied on such purchases as per the Service & Price guide.

Are there any other charges on my transactions?

There will be a charge of 3% on the cash withdrawn or AED 90 whichever is higher. There will also be interest and charges on the cash withdrawn, wire transfer money orders, non-financial institutions – foreign currency, money orders & travelers cheques, betting including – lottery tickets, casino gaming chips, off-track betting & wagers at race tracks

How many days do I have to make a payment from the time my statement is produced?

Payment can be made any time from the statement date but at least the minimum payment amount must be received within 25 days from the statement date. A late payment penalty of AED 275 will be charged if no payment is made before the due date and interest will be charged on the outstanding balance.

How can I make payments?

There are various payment options for your Najm Credit Card. Please find the details in our payment options page.

How will I know what the minimum required payment is?

The minimum payment that you need to make each month will be mentioned at the top of your monthly statement. This is calculated at 5% of the outstanding balance or AED 100 whichever is the greater. This amount must be paid by the due date shown on the statement.

When will I be charged the interest? How is it calculated?

You will be charged the interest every month for any unsettled amounts from previous statements. The monthly interest is calculated on a daily basis, and added to your account for any balances not paid off by the due date on the statement they are billed on. This interest will be stated on each current statement.

Will I have to pay my Najm Credit Card at the same time every month?

Yes. The payment due date for your Najm Credit Card will be the same every month. This date will be mentioned at the top of your monthly Statement of Account.

How will I know my Credit Limit?

If your application is successful, your Credit Limit will appear on the card carrier which will be in the welcome pack you receive with your new credit card. It will also be indicated at the top of your monthly Statement of Account.

How long will it take until I receive my new Najm Credit Card?

Once we receive your application form and provided that you have enclosed all the required documentation, you should receive your Najm Credit Card in approximately 7 days.

Is there a fee for Supplementary Credit Cards?

You can get up to 5 Supplementary Cards for your family

How can I get Supplementary Credit Cards for my family?

Simply complete the sections titled “Supplementary Cards” on the Application Form and ensure the Supplementary Cardmembers passport copy is attached.

What is Medical & Legal Referral Service?

As a Voyager Cardmember you are automatically entitled to avail Visa’s medical and legal referral service that helps support you and your immediate family when you are travelling together to a location outside your principal country of residence for up to 90 days. Complimentary services include helping you get medical telephone advice, putting you in touch with a local medical service provider and with someone to monitor your medical condition both during and after hospitalization.

As part of the Legal Referral Service, we can refer you to lawyers and legal practitioners; however, you will be responsible for covering legal fees and related charges.

Can I change my PIN Number to a preferred number?

No, you cannot change your PIN Number to a preferred number. It is a security number and will only be provided by NAJM. The customer is required to remember the 4 digit PIN number that provides added Security feature from fraud.  In case customer needs the PIN Number reissued, the request needs to be placed with 600 57 NAJM (6256).

Important things to note:
Do not share your PIN Number with anyone.

How do I get my PIN Number?

You can generate your Personal Identification Number (PIN) for your Voyager Credit Card by calling our 24 hour Call Center number at 600 57 NAJM (6256).

How does it work?

When you wish to pay for goods, the Najm credit card is placed into a “Point of Sale” terminal, which accesses the chip on the card. Once the card has been verified as authentic, the customer needs to enter a 4-digit PIN, which is sent separately to the customer. If the two match, the chip tells the terminal the PIN was correct and transaction is processed. If the PIN Number is incorrect, the transaction will be declined for correct entry of the PIN number.

What is Chip and PIN?

Chip and PIN is a security feature on your Najm Credit Card. Your credit card has a chip that gets authenticated using a Personal Identification Number (PIN) for all your retail and cash transactions.

Do I have an option to get paper statement?

Yes, you can request for paper statement for a nominal fee of AED 15 per paper statement.

Can I apply for a supplementary card and how many can I avail?

Yes, you can apply for supplementary card and you can get upto 5 Free supplementary Credit cards

Najm Cashback Cards

Can I have multiple installments transaction on my Najm Credit Card?

Do I earn Najm points when I sign-up for the 0% EPP Program?

Yes you will earn Najm points on enrolling for 0% EPP Program, however the principal amount is subjective to the card type and their capped value.

What is the 0% Easy Payment Plan with Carrefour & how can I avail this?

0% Easy Payment Plan (EPP) payment feature on the Najm Credit Card is available at Carrefour stores and Carrefour Web store and only on electronic items through which Cardmembers be able to pay for big-ticket electronic item purchases through a 0% easy installment plan of up to 12 months. Can I exchange my Carrefour voucher for cash?

No, the voucher cannot be exchanged for cash

Can I give my Carrefour voucher to someone as a gift?

No, this is a personal voucher which can be redeemed either by you or your supplementary(s) only.

How can I redeem my Najm Points?

Every time you reach 10,000 points, a Carrefour Voucher will be sent to you along with your statement. This voucher will be valid for 90 days from the date of the statement. The Points section on the statement will also reflect the amount paid out as Najm Points.

Will I receive a Statement showing my Najm Points earned?

The amount of Cashback that you have earned and accumulated from spend on the Najm Credit Card will be indicated on your monthly statement.

How can I earn Najm Points on my Najm Credit Card?

You will earn Najm cash back points every time you make a retail purchase. You can earn up to 4% cashback on your spends.

On a Najm Gold Card:

  • Carrefour Hypermarkets: AED 1 = 4% Cashback
  • Everywhere else: AED 1 = 2% Cashback

A minimum spend of AED 2000 is required to earn Cashback.

Can I use the Najm Credit Card to withdraw cash?

Yes, you can withdraw cash from ATMs worldwide that have the Cirrus logo. You can withdraw up to 25% of your Credit Limit. Subject to a withdrawal fee of AED 90 or 3% of the amount of any cash withdrawal, whichever is the greater, on every cash withdrawal.

What should I do if my Najm Credit Card is lost or stolen?

To report a lost or stolen card please call 600 57 NAJM (6256) from within the UAE or +971 293 5811 from outside the UAE.

Your card will immediately be blocked and a replacement card will be issued and couriered to you within 3 working days.

What is the annual fee for the Najm Credit Card?

Do I accumulate Points on all my transactions?

Both regular and promotional cash back only applies to Retail Purchases. Any transaction by the way of Cash Advances, Balance Transfers, Loan on Phone, Purchase of Foreign Currency ,Foreign Exchange ATM, Purchase of Bonds or any money market or savings instruments, Quasi cash, payment to any loan or Credit card, and charges like Interest, Late Payment Penalty, Over Limit Penalty will not be eligible for Cashback.

How can I upgrade my existing Najm Silver or Blue Credit Card to earn 4% Cashback?

All you need to do to upgrade to a Najm Gold Credit Card is to SMS to ‘UP’ to ‘3135’ and one of our representatives will get in touch with you to process your request.

Will my Cashback Rewards expire in a month?

No. For any particular month where your total Cashback Rewards earned is less than AED 100, your Cashback Rewards will be accrued and will be added to the Cashback rewards that you would earn in the following month based on your spends. The moment you reach the minimum level of Cashback points, a Carrefour Voucher is automatically generated and sent to you along with your monthly Najm Credit Card Statement.

Please remember to use your Carrefour Voucher before the expiry date.

How much do I need to spend in a month to reach the cap of AED 500 Cashback Rewards?

It all depends upon where you use your Najm Credit Card, at Carrefour or outside Carrefour, as the rewards earnings depends on where you shop.

What is the maximum cashback rewards that I can earn in a given year?

The Cardmembers can earn up to AED 6,000 as Cashback in a given year. Please find below the details on the maximum Cashback rewards.

In any particular month the maximum cash back received by a Najm card member will be as mentioned in the table above. Any additional cash back points earned in that particular month will not be carried forward to the next month.

Is there a minimum spend required to earn Cashback?

There is a minimum of AED 2000 spend in a billing cycle to be eligible for Cashback points.

If you do not meet the minimum spend condition of AED 2000 in a billing cycle, you will not be eligible to earn Cashback points.

What is the maximum cap on spends at Carrefour?

You can earn the maximum caps in a billing cycle based on the product type. For Gold it is AED 500, Silver it is AED 300 and Blue it is AED 200.

What if I spend more than the maximum cap?

In a billing cycle, if you spend more than the maximum cap you will not earn cashback rewards beyond the cap.

When is this effective from?

The maximum caps is effective from 01 September 2017.

Is this in addition to the existing monthly cap?

No, the cap is inclusive in the monthly cap.

When will I receive my items with the Valet Trolley service?

Once you checkout at the Customer Support desk in Carrefour, you may choose between various time slots for your delivery. Please keep in mind that you need to book the time slot at least 40 minutes before it starts.

How does Carrefour Pay work?

To access Carrefour Pay when making purchases in store, please follow the below steps:

  1. Download the App via the App Store of Google Play
  2. Register your Najm Credit Card on the Carrefour Pay App
  3. Once ready to checkout – click ‘Carrefour Pay’ on the home screen
  4. A barcode will load and appear

Will Cashback earned be adjusted against AMF?

The Cashback earned will be adjusted against the total outstanding every month. The annual fee will be included as part of the total outstanding and any cashback earned will be adjusted against the total outstanding.

How do I know what transaction tier I am on or how much cashback I have earned before my statement?
